Padinjare Varikatt Family

Padinjare (western) varikattu is one of the two main branches of Chenthottathil family. When Kurian, the second son of Mr. Thomman Chenthottathil started living in the western portion of Varikattu property, Kurian and his descendants came under Padinjare-varikattu branch. The other main branch was Kizhakke (eastern) varikattu Kuriakko and his descendents.

Padinjare Varikattu Kurian had four sons. They and their children lived in Mutholath, Padinjare Varikattu, Moozhail, and Neduvelil properties originating those family names. The descendents of these families are mostly in Cherpunkal. Some are in Malabar and United States. 

Kuriako son of Kurian is the originator of Mutholath family by settling in Mutholath property. His eldest son Kurian had moved to Kualappurath and later to Aikkanamadathil. The other son Chacko continued to live with his parents in Mutholath family.

PADINJARE VARIKATTU KURUVILLA

The second son Kuruvilla continued to live in Padinjare-varikattu property keeping up the same family name. His son Mathai Kuruvilla married Mariam from Punnathura Thekkanattu family. The following are the children of Mathai and Mariam:

1. Kuruvilla Mathai Padinjare-varikattu who married Chachi and later lived in Kunnunnil.

Children of KURUVILLA PADINJAREVARIKATTU and CHACHI are:
                   i.    MATHAI KURUVILLA  who married ALEY from Chittettu family in Maridom. 
					                      Their children are Leelamma, Appachan, Baby (Female),  
                          Kunjachan, Mathew, Kunjammini, Kunjumon, Tomy, and Sunny.
                  ii.    KURIAN KURUVILLA 
                 iii.    PEELI KURUVILLA 
                 iv.    KUJULUKA KURUVILLA 
                  v.    MARIAM KURUVILLA 
                 vi.    KUNJANNA KURUVILLA 
               vii.   ALEY KURUVILLA 
2. Pothen Mathai Padijare-varikattu who married Mariam Onasseril from Mannanam.

The Children of POTHEN PADINJAREVARIKATTU and MARIAM ONASSERIL are:

                   i.    MATHAI POTHEN  who married ALEYKUTTY from Pulikeel family in Koodalloor.

                                               Their children are Mary Raphael, Elsamma Abraham,

                                               Joseph (wife Lucy), Philip, (Wife Lizy),  Saly Jolly,

                                               Sunny, Jacob (wife Beena), Santhosh (wife Shimi Chettiath),

                                               and Sunil (wife Sonia).

                  ii.    MARIAMMA who is married to KORAKKUTTY from Kurikkattumakkil family in Uzhavoor.

3. Kuriakko Mathai Padinjare-varikattu who married Annachi Vadakara.

Children of KURIAKKO PADINJAREVARIKATTU and ANNACHI VADAKARA are:

                   i.    MATHAI KURIAKKO .

                  ii.    KURUVILLA KURIAKKO

                 iii.    UTHUP KURIAKKO

                 iv.    CHACKO KURIAKKO

                  v.    PEELI KURIAKKO

                 vi.    MARIAM KURIAKKO

                vii.    CHINNAMMA KURIAKKO

4. Mariachi Mathai Padinjare-varikattu who was married to a person in Mavelil family at Punnathura.

Thommachan and Mathai are the children of Mariachi and her husband from Mavelil family.

Details of Neduvelil family is not available at present for this website.
