KOCHOOP AND CHINNA VETTIKKATTU
CHINNA daughter of Uppai Chacko Mutholath (Kulappurath) was born on November 20, 1930 in Cherpunkal Kulappurath house in Mutholath family. She married Kochoop (Joseph) son of Korah from Vettikkattu family in Neendoor. He was born on August 08, 1922 in Neendoor Vettikkattu House.
Kochoop died on December 08, 2000 in a hospital. His funeral was held on December 13, 2000, at Neendoor St. Michael's Church. Bishop Mar Mathew Moolakkattu officitated the funeral service at home and Bishop Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry officited the final service. His son Fr. Michael Vettikkatt was the main celebrant for all other functions.
Children of CHINNA KULAPPURATH and JOSEPH VETTIKKATT are George, Mercy, Sr. Liza, SJC, Sr. Sameena SJC, Mathews, Maria, Fr. Michael Vettikkattu, and James.
2. 1. GEORGE Vettikkattu married ELSAMMA daughter of Mani Thekkumkattil. Thier children are Jyothi, Jomon, and Johny.
2. MERCY was born on May 10, 1953 in Vettikkattu family at Neendoor. She married Mathew Varkey Ayathupadathu on 12, 1971 in Athirampuazha Church. He was born in Ayathupadathu family in Elambulassery. Their children are Sini, Sunil, Saji, and Sibi.
3. SR. LIZA joined St. Joseph's Congregation in the Diocese of Kottayam. She was nursing tutor and in now superior in St. Joseph's Convent in Los Angeles.
4. SR. SAMMENA also joined St. Joseph's Congregation in the Diocese of Kottayam.
5. MATHEWS married MINI daughter of Cyriac from Appochiparambil family in Memmury. Their children are Ann and Cyril.
6. MARIA was born on November 02, 1964 in Vettikkattu house at Neendoor. She married MATHEW son of Abraham from Muriyamyalil family in Vettimukal, Kottayam District on July 15, 1985 Children of Maria and Mathew are Mintu, Anu, and Lia.
7. FR. MICHAEL VETTIKKATTU was born on March 31, 1968. He became a priest in the Diocese of Kottayam on December 27, 1993. He has Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) and is the diocesan director of social work and director of Chaithanya Pastoral Center at Thellakom.
8. JAMES was born on August 01, 1974. He married Bibi daughter of John from Pattarukuzhiyil family. Their marriage was held on August 01, 2001at St. Michael's Church Neendoor. They have one child. |
